This story was about little monsters that followed around a boy all day craving something to eat. After pestering the boy enough he finally grabbed a bunch of food and gave it to the monsters. So as a board book it's a little wordy but other than that it's a fantastic little book. It is a counting rhyme book so it has a fun predictable pattern to it so young readers can follow along well. The visuals are stunning even bringing in some spacing technique as the number of monsters or food items increases.
I do think that the number of words in the book could take away from the beginner readers. However, this might be an excellent book to read along with or to read to a child!
